Sounds: Donny Barley in Welcome to Hell
Read our Extended: Toy Machine piece here.
The soundtrack in question for this one is Black Sabbath’s Megalomania. Due, either to the part being so short or for impact purposes, the part begins halfway through the song, during a particularly great riff.
Donny’s incredible alley-oop and Cabbed-into wallrides appear shortly after the beginning of the part alongside this riff, before the song kicks in proper with Ozzy’s singing, beginning with that iconic middle of the road line ending with the frontside 360 into traffic.
Polejam 180 to switch manny, a drifted melon and pop shove it and mid-Love Park line switch hardflip and switch frontside flips follow, capping off the inherent ATV-ness of the part - and that’s not mentioning the pool and handrail tricks!
All this before Donny doffs his cap to himself, and ends the part on probably the most iconic Barley footage - Barley grind then switch Barley grind down a pair of identical handrails.
