We’ve been big fans of Willis Kimbel ever since his first appearance performing an exemplary example of the above thumbnail trick in the original Beauty and the Beast tour edit.
Since then, Willis seems to have taken ownership of some of the more obscure areas of transition skating. For example, the fields of roll-in grinds, Inverts, and lines around the more peripheral obstacles in skateparks (although, his compatriot David Gravette contends with him on that last one!). He takes some great lines around the peripheries of Burnside before switch back smithing the pool… A couple of hefty roll-in grinds follow, before backside airing over Jeremy Tuffli’s Pivot Fakie.
Not sure if there’s anyone better at making the most of cutty little spots - see the frontside pivot kickflip on the bank to ledge spot two minutes in and the jump ramp-assisted footage a minute later.
